Steve Baker - The Pragmatic Constitutionalist
Progressives have incrementally eroded away our freedoms for decades. Incrementally, we must begin taking them back. THE PRAGMATIC CONSTITUTIONALIST IS... . . . GUIDED in philosophy and political activism by one simple axiom: “There’s the world we want, vs. the world in which we actually live.” Purist libertarian ideologists imagine a world and human interactions in which all beings don’t care what you do with and to yourself — or in interactions with similarly consensual persons — so long as those activities do not negatively impact anyone else’s life, property, or pursuits. In other words: we should, individually, be able to do whatever we damn well please, so long as we don’t “break the bones or pick the pockets” of anyone not also voluntarily engaging in the same, said activities. The “PRAGMATIC” view understands that human nature is not so simplistic. A majority of humanity are going to choose “safety over liberty.” Most people prefer governmental remediation over free-market solutions . . . even though both are ultimately the product of HUMAN ideas and administration. How are humans who run big government any better than humans who run big corporations? How about humans first be allowed to “run themselves”— for better, or worse? . . . A CONSTITUTIONAL libertarian, but in no way associated with the Libertarian Party. While I hold many things in common with that Party, I have found them to be, well – a typical political party. As such, they are often prone to look more after the interests of the Party, above the interests of libertarianism, or the nation. One visit to a Party meeting, and you might see them more as a social club of political misfits and outcasts than a viable political force, with too many of the Libertarian Party stereotypes on full display. Most “small l” libertarians believe the Founding of the United States was the first true libertarian experiment, and our Constitution is more than just the law of the land, but the guiding framework for the type of small government to which we need return — limiting the interference of government into our lives, but also protecting our individual liberties.

The Mysterious Unpersoning of Michael Stenger by The Washington Post
Friday Jul 01, 2022
Friday Jul 01, 2022
In this podcast Steve not only covers the primary conspiracy theories surrounding the death of Michael Stenger — who was the Senate Sergeant at Arms on January 6th — but also what seems to be a deliberate erasure by The Washington Post of Stenger from their own website’s search engine. Was he murdered, or was it a natural death . . . and why was the mainstream press so slow to announce Stegner’s passing, considering his key position on that day when all hell broke loose at the U.S. Capitol?
Transcript of Stenger’s opening statement in the Senate hearing on February 23, 2021:

TPC Reviews the House J6 Committee’s First National Hearing
Friday Jun 10, 2022
Friday Jun 10, 2022
In this episode, I take a few minutes to give my initial impressions of the House of Representative's Select Committee Hearing, as presented last night to a national audience. As is usually the case in my writings and podcasts about January 6th, you'll find something with which to both agree or disagree, but it is a fair take from someone who saw that day with my own eyes and my own camera.

TPC Interviews J6 Defendant, JD Rivera
Wednesday Jun 08, 2022
Wednesday Jun 08, 2022
JD Rivera is an independent videographer/cinematographer who traveled to DC on January 6th with no other intent than to document the rally and surrounding events. When the "story" made its way to the Capitol Building, he did what any video journalist would do and followed that story. Two weeks later, JD was arrested by the FBI and charged with four misdemeanors. Rather than taking a deal -- pleading guilty to crimes he did not commit -- he has decided to go to trial, (which is scheduled for next week). One of the most interesting aspects of this interview is our detailed discussion about the differences in how the DOJ has selectively prosecuted independent journalists who covered that story. Some, like JD, were charged with crimes, others were threatened but not charged, and some have never even been contacted by the FBI. We explore "why."
JD served 10 years as a U.S. Marine, is married with six children, had his life completely upended by the aftermath of January 6th, but believes he must stand up for what's right and face a federal judge . . . knowing his freedom is on the line. TPC Podcast - June 3, 2022
Friday Jun 03, 2022
Friday Jun 03, 2022
This is the most personal message I've ever shared with TPC's readers and followers. In this podcast I go into detail about my current medical situation . . . which I happen to share in common with one of our nation's Founders. I discuss our nation's opioid crisis, the renewed assault on the 2nd Amendment, (the interconnectivity of these two issues), and why we cannot lose that battle. I also tell the story of when and why I shot another man.
If you are able to help offset the cost of my upcoming surgery, you can do so by one of the two following means. Either by becoming a supporting member of our Locals community, at:

Part 5 of TPC’s Interview With J6 Defense Attorney Brad Geyer
Monday May 23, 2022
Monday May 23, 2022
In Part 5, the final episode of this extensive interview, Brad gets deeper into the intent and actual motives behind the Oath Keepers' involvement on January 6th, and Steve asks him if he's holding back on his criticisms of the DOJ as the J6 legal cases continue to develop. Brad closes out by sharing what he was doing in Vietnam at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, and how he hoped to facilitate a hydroxychloroquine airlift to the United States, not knowing the political situation that was developing with that drug, back home.

Part 4 of TPC’s Interview With J6 Defense Attorney Brad Geyer
Friday May 13, 2022
Friday May 13, 2022
In Part 4, Brad discusses the deterioration of constitutional values within the DOJ and other federal agencies, and from his perspective as a former federal prosecutor, why he believes we have only 2 to 3 years left to reverse this trend in order to save our country. We also discuss more of the Oath Keepers case, the unidentified provocateurs who were working the west side doors of the Capitol on January 6th, and the nexus between the government's response to both J6 and the pandemic.

Part 3 of TPC’s Interview With J6 Defense Attorney Brad Geyer
Wednesday May 11, 2022
Wednesday May 11, 2022
In Part 3, Steve and Brad dive headlong into many of the specifics of Oath Keeper Ken Harrelson's case, including the difficulties in attaining video evidence from the DOJ, and especially the overblown and outrageous "seditious conspiracy" charge Harrelson and eight other defendants are facing in their upcoming trials. As Harrelson's attorney, no one other than Brad Geyer can better describe the frustrations and roadblocks they are up against in adequately preparing for what will likely be the most high profile legal spectacle of 2022.

Part 2 of TPC’s Interview With J6 Defense Attorney Brad Geyer
Tuesday May 10, 2022
Tuesday May 10, 2022
In Part Two, Steve and Brad get deep into the weeds about who might be those unidentified participants and provocateurs manipulating crowds on January 6th, and to what extent agents of the federal government might have been involved. In a totally unplanned moment, Geyer's client, Oath Keeper Ken Harrelson calls while this podcast was being recorded, and you get to listen as they spend a few minutes with him on the phone, directly from the D.C. Detention Center.

Part 1 of TPC’s Interview With J6 Defense Attorney Brad Geyer
Monday May 09, 2022
Monday May 09, 2022
In Part 1 of this interview Steve Baker introduces Brad Geyer, the defense attorney for January 6th defendant, Ken Harrelson, one of the Oath Keepers charged with the crime of "seditious conspiracy." Mr. Geyer also happens to be Steve's attorney, as well, handling his own threatened prosecution by the DOJ. In this segment, Geyer gives us his background as a former federal prosecutor, why he left the DOJ, and he also speculates as to why after six months since Steve was told by the DOJ that he'd be "charged within the week," that has still not happened. They also take a short diversion into Geyer's concurrent work with victims and the families of those forced into receiving the dangerous drug Remdesivir as part of their COVID-19 treatments. In subsequent parts of this extensive interview, they get deeper into the Harrelson case and the recent feature article by Epoch Times which overviewed Geyer's defense strategy in Harrelson's case -- especially related to the entrapment exercise of apparent agents provocateur run against the Oath Keepers on January 6th. Here's the link to that article:
