Progressives have incrementally eroded away our freedoms for decades. Incrementally, we must begin taking them back. THE PRAGMATIC CONSTITUTIONALIST IS... . . . GUIDED in philosophy and political activism by one simple axiom: “There’s the world we want, vs. the world in which we actually live.” Purist libertarian ideologists imagine a world and human interactions in which all beings don’t care what you do with and to yourself — or in interactions with similarly consensual persons — so long as those activities do not negatively impact anyone else’s life, property, or pursuits. In other words: we should, individually, be able to do whatever we damn well please, so long as we don’t “break the bones or pick the pockets” of anyone not also voluntarily engaging in the same, said activities. The “PRAGMATIC” view understands that human nature is not so simplistic. A majority of humanity are going to choose “safety over liberty.” Most people prefer governmental remediation over free-market solutions . . . even though both are ultimately the product of HUMAN ideas and administration. How are humans who run big government any better than humans who run big corporations? How about humans first be allowed to “run themselves”— for better, or worse? . . . A CONSTITUTIONAL libertarian, but in no way associated with the Libertarian Party. While I hold many things in common with that Party, I have found them to be, well – a typical political party. As such, they are often prone to look more after the interests of the Party, above the interests of libertarianism, or the nation. One visit to a Party meeting, and you might see them more as a social club of political misfits and outcasts than a viable political force, with too many of the Libertarian Party stereotypes on full display. Most “small l” libertarians believe the Founding of the United States was the first true libertarian experiment, and our Constitution is more than just the law of the land, but the guiding framework for the type of small government to which we need return — limiting the interference of government into our lives, but also protecting our individual liberties.

The fates of Stewart Rhodes, Thomas Caldwell, Jessica Watkins, Kelly Meggs, and Ken Harrelson are now in the hands of the jury. The final days and closing arguments were not without surprises and more blatant mischaracterizations of the facts by the government.

The government concluded their case against the five Oath Keepers in this case yesterday, Stewart Rhodes took the stand today as the defense begins their case, and Judge Mehta continues to press his thumb down on one side of the scale of justice.

Today was the day of the much anticipated appearance from US Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn, testifying for the government against the five Oath Keepers in this trial. In this report I explain the change in his version of events between his two FBI interviews. There was more than just the Dunn story today, and I go there, too.

Stephen Horn is one of those independent journalists who has been charged for his work on January 6th and has decided to go to trial and argue against "selective prosecution," in light of the fact the DOJ has charged some indy journalists, and not others. We explore reasons why this is happening, as well as many other aspects of Stephen's activities on J6. Including the fact he may actually be called as a witness in the current Oath Keepers trial, resulting from a very specific video he captured of USCP officer Harry Dunn's interaction with some of the defendants in this trial.

Chaos broke loose in the Oath Keepers trial on Monday morning with the announcement Stewart Rhodes had tested positive with COVID, and . . . defense attorney Stanley Woodward had been involved in an accident that same morning . . . leading to a disastrous momentum shift back to the prosecution during Tuesday's cross examination of an FBI witness who they'd previously had on the ropes at the end of the day on Friday. All that and more in this update.

In this podcast I share a little bit more about my experiences while sitting in the media room every day with the MSM journalists. (CNN, CBS, NBC, NPR, Reuters, Politico, and the like), but I do share some about what's been happening in the trial over the last three days, as well. A couple of good days, but . . . well . . . today was tough. If I'm not going to act like those other guys in the MSM, I have to tell the full story.
